In-House Seminars

NCLC offers custom-tailored training programs to fit the specific needs of the client. Many owners have found it cost effective and highly beneficial to have our instructors come to their selected location, at a time of their choice, to discuss a range of subjects selected by them. In most instances, the owner will furnish its own regular contracting documents in advance so our instructors can be familiar with them and discuss them in detail during the in-house session.

These seminars usually last two full days and are taught by two to three instructors whose teaching draws on literally decades of hands-on practice and experience. A detailed seminar manual covering the subjects taught is provided to each participant.

Subjects typically covered during NCLC's seminars include alternative project delivery methods, owner/architect/engineer contracts, owner/contractor contracts, construction management, risk allocation, design error, change orders, concealed site conditions, warranties, termination, delay, acceleration, performance bonds, payment bonds, bid bonds, project documentation and record keeping, mediation, arbitration, claims and other forms of dispute resolution. Questions and comments are encouraged from every recipient, both during the seminar sessions and at breaks.

Typically, a flat fee is charged for in-house seminars regardless of the number of attendees. Please contact us at 800-338-6697 for questions or further information.
